3 fun Summer Activities to do with your Kid
Summer is the perfect season to go outside and spend some quality time with your family. And even if you didn't book a long, exotic vacation this year, that doesn't mean you and your little ones can't go on an epic summer adventure!
Here are 3 ideas for some fun activities to do with your kids that don't require a lot of planning and booking ahead but will for sure result in some unforgettable summer memories nonetheless.
Drive out to a local strawberry field and gather the delicious red treasures. You can have a competition who can find the biggest, prettiest, weirdest strawberry or who is fastest at filling up their basket.
The best part of going strawberry picking is that you get to indulge in eating them in the meantime as well though, so get there hungry! One for the basket and one for me...
And when you're done collecting and get back home the fun continues. How about baking a delicious, fresh strawberry pie? Just knowing that the ingredients were handpicked will already make it taste so much better!
Anastasia Bashioum aka @ohyeahanastasia on Instagram is showing us how much fun this summer activity can be (and you will also get some cute pictures out of it at the same time).
For this fun summer activity, you don't even need to go anywhere far! Because instead of driving to a wonderful, magical place, you get to create your own!
Just grab a few colorful street chalks, go outside and let your creativity run wild on the sidewalk. Your little one and you will get to work on a collaborative master piece and show it off to the neighborhood.
Whether it's a tropical island, a magical castle or a world of dinosaurs and unicorns, there's no limit to your creativity. A perfect way to spend a sunny summer afternoon at home and Olya aka @white.olya on Instagram captured it perfectly!
Probably one of the most classic summer activities but definitely one of my personal favorites. All you need is a cozy blanket, a basket filled with snacks and drinks of your choice and you're good to go! Settle down on the grass in a park, at the beach, near a lake or any other beautiful outdoors location and enjoy!
If you want to go all out you can even bring card games, a frisbee, or other gadgets that will keep you and your kids occupied in between all the snacking.
Olesya aka @lesyaolesya_ shows us how to do it right, doesn't that setup look absolutely magical?
