Always trying to find easy breakfasts for our lifestyle and busy life with a toddler, smoothies are my number one go to.
During hot summer months to cool down, or during the snowy season sippin' them by the fire, smoothies are a great way to serve up antioxidant and nutrient packed meals to your kids and yourself.
This Blueberry Pancake smoothie was a hit with my little guy and tastes like a traditional Sunday breakfast without all the sugar or extra clean up. Best part? It's naturally sweetened with fruit!
Ingredients:
2 Bananas (frozen works best)
1 C. Frozen Blueberries
3 TBSP. gluten free oats
2 C. Almond Milk (or milk of choice)
2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 TBSP. almond slivers or cashews
Directions:
Throw it all in a powerful blender and mix until smooth.
Serve immediately and top with extra berries!
