This past week we celebrated my little guy turning a year old. My heart can't handle the fact that my baby is now a toddler! We went with the "wild one" theme, based off the children's book 'Where the Wild Things Are.' It was a small, beautiful celebration for my babe and I thought I'd share how it turned out. Enjoy!
The backdrop is bulletin board background paper that I found at JoAnn's. The cloud balloons I made by stuffing clear latex balloons with fluff and hanging down from the ceiling. Wild one letters are from amazon.
His smash cake was a simple white cake with butter cream frosting and semi frosted. I made his cake topper out of glittered cardstock. The cupcake toppers are also from amazon. I made a majority of the decorations, but what was bought, I've linked down below.
I found make your own banner at Michael's and I then hand drew the crowns and one, then painted them in. Also spent an entire afternoon cutting out the Max and Monster silhouettes then strung those together.
Customized goodie bags, hand drawn, glued glittered crowns to the front.
I took to Pinterest to find some printables, and scored these beautiful free ones from The Okie Home
Hope you enjoyed this fun little birthday and it helps inspires your next one!
